When we first put this feeder up,
it took a while for the birds to find it.
But, now it is a busy place!
These mourning doves are the most frequent visitors.
They are such a pretty shade of gray and
they make the sweetest sounds...
Thanks for visiting today...
Hope your weekend is filled with sweet things!
the cooing of doves is so calming, i love to hear them call to each other... they must have seen your sign, buffet is open
ReplyDeleteWow what a lot of doves. It would be nice I think to have them close to listen to them coo.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
What beautiful visitors you have at your bird feeder! I love mourning doves, but I'll have to admit their 'calls' make me a bit sad.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
What sweet visitors!
ReplyDeleteoh I just LOVE your bird feeder and your visitors are so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteDoves are so much fun to watch. We also have ones called Eurasia collared doves that are a bit larger and even paler in color. They all seem to get along fine under our feeders.
ReplyDeleteHi, We are home from a wonderful trip to Arkansas with friends. Photos tomorrow!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a great week. My birdies were happy to see me home--so that I could feed them.. Isn't it just so much fun to feed the birds. Love your feeder.
Hugs,
Betsy
Most special...your congregation of doves!
ReplyDeleteQuestion...did you manage to re-book your cruise to Alaska for September?
