heralding spring


A flowering pear is lovely to see


as it stands blooming proudly in all of its glory.

Standing tall in our yards and in rows on our streets


and popping up in the woods where country roads meet.
Heralding, like trumpets, the coming of spring
with branches lifted high praising their King!

    I can't wait until ours blooms. It looks like it might be forming buds ... a sure sign spring will be here soon.

    gorgeous pear blooms, they look a lot like dogwood blooms. spring is springing woo hooo
