About Me

Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

I do!

After the rehearsal, we made our way to the other side of
the campus at Epworth where the dinner was to be held.
The decor consisted of royal blue satin, beautiful dried
hydrangeas, artwork, birds and framed photos
 of the bride and groom.

My friend, the mother of the groom, did a wonderful job
collecting the items and making a plan for each table.
Made actually doing the decorating a breeze!

My friend with her granddaughter.

It was sweet sharing this special time with my "buddy"!

The bride and groom!

This is Lovely Lane Chapel just a few mins. before the ceremony.

These adorned the handrails on the chapel...

and the wreaths on the doors!

The groom with his parents inside the chapel.

The couple exchanging their vows.

 The flowers at the altar.

Ruthie, the flower girl. Coming down the aisle,
her sign said..."Here Comes the Bride".

As the couple left the chapel, we showered them with rose petals ...
an old English  tradition.

Some of my family waiting to toss their petals.

 Here they come!

And there they go!

What a joy it was to witness the joining of these
two young people.
It was a beautiful ceremony centered around Christ.
I am confident that their marriage will be also.

Reception pictures next time! :-)
