On my March visit to Tenn, My daughter-in-law and I went
shopping for fabric for the baby boy's quilt.
We were looking for something to go with the adventure, travel
theme of his room.
We found a vintage print with ships, planes, trains,
luggage, ticket stubs...perfect.
Then, we had fun picking coordinating fabrics.
I finished it in time to give it to her at the shower Sunday.
Here it is...
It looks pretty hanging on his bed!
The look on her face when she opened the package made me happy!
So glad she liked it...hope "Little H" likes it, too! :-)
I like it. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable quilt! Of course Little H will love it!
ReplyDeleteLittle H will love it and it looks beautiful hanging on his crib! Wonder how long he'll keep it there when he's a toddler and realizes just how comfortable quilts are. Not only to sleep with, but to snuggle with, sit on and drag aound behind you. Just ask Linus =)!
ReplyDeleteHello on a gorgeous, spring day in TENNESSEE. Wow---after the long and bitter winter we had this year, Spring is even more inviting and lovely.
ReplyDeleteWOW---love that quilt. When one of my friends used to live near me in Texas, she loved to quilt --and I always enjoyed helping her pick out fabric...So much fun!!!!!
We are now home 'again' --after our 5th trip since the end of February.... Seems as if we visited five different states --although the trips weren't planned for that reason... ha... BUT--as I always say, it's great to be home... I did publish a blog post today--so check it out when you have time. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
