Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

a "grand" weekend

C.W. came to call this weekend.
We played Sorry and Uno and Guess Who.
We bounced on our mini-trampoline
and blew bubbles...
and of course, we played with cars and trucks!

I bought that map when he was about 2 years old.
At 7, he still plays with it every time he comes.

We also went to Chuck E Cheese, Bass Pro Shop,
the movies to see Frozen and Pet Smart.

If you've never been to a Bass Pro Shop...it is quite an adventure.
It is huge and the decor is really elaborate...bears, fish,
ducks, pheasants, turkeys, beavers... everywhere.
Boats and piers mounted on the wall,
water wheels and "horse-drawn" wagons at the front door!

Oh, and Little E joined us for Pet Smart...

bouncing...

and bubbles!

It was a "grand" weekend for sure! :-)

  1. Such fun times! The closest thing we have to Bass Pro is Cabella's. We visited the Bass pro shop outside Dallas...

  5. Oh, sweet Debbie what a wonderful weekend that must have been with those cuties. The pictures are great. I have never been to Bass Pro they just opened up a new one in Little Rock but I don't go to Little Rock unless for something that cannot be avoided. Hugs
