Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

fervent and righteous prayer

Not much to say today except that God is good and I am so grateful for Christian friends who are faithful to pray. I know we were bathed in prayer last week and that made all the difference. Through the years our Heavenly Father has proven Himself faithful to us over and over again. He did it again during this most recent anxious and trying time.
In Sunday School yesterday, our teacher said something that resonated with me. We were talking about how to talk to non-believers and he said, "Remember one thing, no one can argue with you about what God has done in YOUR life. No one can discredit that. They may not believe in God , but they can't tell you that what you know to be true, because you have experienced it, is not real."And you know what.... that is the truth! If that doesn't give us boldness, I don't know what will!

So glad I can trust Him with everything...my life, my family, our future. He is the only one who always keeps His promises and whose plans for me are always good. What a comfort!

"For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding YES!
And through Christ, our Amen!, ascends to God for His glory!"
II Cor 1:20

  2. I learned that long ago, and letting them fall upon the sword. They have to read the Bible for themselves and let God's word pierce the bone and marrow. I have spent years witnessing to Mormons and J.W.s I always do better with a Bible in my hand.
Then sharing a testimony about the power of God in your own life is always something that can't be argued away.
I will keep praying for you and your DIL. I thought about your family all day yesterday. But with God nothing is impossible.
I read this and I thought of your family, " Nothing touches me that does not come through the hedge of God's will. He's in charge.
We don't flounder around in a sea of pure chance.
"So I reflected on all this and conclude that the righteous and the wise and what they do are in God's hands." (Ecclesiastes 9:1)
I will keep you in my prayers.
