On the way to church yesterday, I saw this quote on a message board in front of a dentist's office:
"A big problem is a little problem that didn't get handled"
I've been thinking about that and I've thought of few exceptions, but in general I think it might be true. What do you think?

Good question. In many ways, that statement would be true...but other "problems" are truly out of our control. I suppose it would depend on the definition of a problem. I know, sometimes, I just get "too deep" with these things:) It is true, though, that a lot can be avoided by "taking care of things" early.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your posts!
I think in most cases this is true. I guess it is like weeding your garden a little bit everyday before the weeds take over the plants! By the way, your flowers are gorgeous. We are having nice weather here and my flowers are really blooming!

I think it could be true in a majority of cases, but in some cases it feels like it is a huge problem immediately. It is true though, that is most often good to take care of little problems right away.
ReplyDeletewell we already talked about this in real life but I will still support you and agree in a comment :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's especially true in relationships, marriage particularly. The book B and I are reading says a lot about that, how little things just build up and then become huge issues if you ignore them!
