About Me

Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

today's gifts

These are a few of the things I am grateful for today:

201. a new wreath for the front door...my daughter's handiwork!
202. grilled beef short ribs...one of our favorites...yum!

203. the daylilies that were planted by the people we bought our house from
thirty seven years ago...they bloom faithfully every year
204. new employees at our office...always glad for more help!

205. a new birdhouse by the front porch.
206. friendly, pleasant cashiers

207. watching the hubby having fun with the grands...this is what she did while
        her "bubba" was playing ball!
208. planning adventures!

209. our wood hydrangea bush...such pretty blossoms!
210. freedom...bought and paid for by the sacrifices of many!

  1. Simple (and wonderful) pleasures to be thankful for! Now I'm off to see what a wood hydrangea is...very pretty, by the way.

  2. What a sweet, sweet list of things to be thankful for. I used to post a thankful list on Thursdays and I need to get back to that.

  3. Ahhhhh---so many wonderful things to be thankful for... I love your birdhouse. SO cute. And that hydrangea is beautiful.

I have an adorable bird blog published today if you have time to check it out.

  4. Love the birdhouse! Miss L and the Chief look like they stayed busy, busy! My grand camp is almost over. I'm going to miss those babies soooo much!

  5. i adore short ribs and the new birdhouse, that's a beauty!!

Your comment is such a blessing and encouragement to me! Thank you for taking the time to leave one.
