tea party

My very good friend (and the office manager where I work) celebrated a significant birthday last week. You know the one where you become a "card carrying member"! (in the US anyway) :-) We acknowledged this milestone by having lunch at the British Pantry Tea Room. A special guest...and her mom...surprised the birthday girl!



She was really the center of attention. Everyone in the place was "oohing and ahhing" over her. She smiled and cooed...I think she enjoyed her first tea party! :-) And I think it made my friend a little less sad about turning......another year older. :-) That's all I'm saying! Happy Birthday, K!

    It looks like a fun time for all. Happy 'special birthday' to your card carrying friend! Since I am from Canada...I have no clue what age that might be.
