But here are a few shots:
St Thomas in the background as we were pulling into port.
We had company in the water!
After a long, steep climb, we ended up here...
...at Magen's Bay...gorgeous!
Three ships were in port that day...
from the left...Disney, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean.
The shops were hopping!!
We bought two t-shirts and a pair of earrings...big shoppers!
We were back on the ship well before the horn sounded
to announce it's impending departure.
to announce it's impending departure.
The captain said, "When you hear the first horn,
you have 30 mins to get back to the ship.
You should start running.
you have 30 mins to get back to the ship.
You should start running.
When you hear the second horn,
you should start looking for a hotel room!"
He may have been joking, but we didn't take
any chances! :-)
any chances! :-)
Next stop...St Marten!
Absolutely gorgeous! I have never been but would love to go. So glad you enjoyed your cruise.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good warning! I bet they always have stragglers...
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so crisp and clear and beautiful!!
glad you listened for that horn, but if you did get left behind, wow what a place to get lost in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely vacation!!! Lovely photos too,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery! And you two look great in the sun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! So glad you had a lovely get-away after all...just not the one you originally planned.
ReplyDeleteYour cruise reminds me of the one we did to Mexico. So relaxing . . .
ReplyDeleteno cooking, enjoying the beautiful beaches and dressing up for dinner. What more can you ask for?
Oh my, how I wish we had seen Magen's Bay when we were in St. Thomas. DH wanted to do a longer island tour, so we did. We did get a short stop at a beach, but it was small and crowded. Oh well, maybe next time ... and at least I'm getting to "see" it, thanks to you!
