About Me

Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

beaching it!

We made it to Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida
yesterday and the first order of business, after checking in
the hotel, was to find some good seafood!
And we did...at the "Crab Shack"

Delicious...savored every bite of those yummy shrimp!

Next up, a early evening walk on the beach...so pretty!

Today, we hit the beach early not knowing how crowded it would be.

Our umbrellas protected us from the sun.
After all, I work for a dermatologist...can't go
back to work sunburned! :-)

Lots of houses to rent on the beach... all different sizes
and styles.

The waves weren't big, but they were frequent...
lots of young people surfing and boogie boarding!

The beach is wide and long with white sand...

shells, and seagulls!

Looking forward to more good seafood tonight
and a walk through historic Fernandina!
Hey, I could get use to this!! :-)
