Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

plan b

Well, we heard from the insurance company and they denied our claim. It seems they only cover
sickness or death! So, the Alaska trip will have to wait until next year. Hubby starts his seasonal job in Oct, so we only have a couple of weeks to make a plan and go somewhere else....or not! If we are going, I would like to go where we have never been... and there are lots of places we have never been! Hubby doesn't want to go as much as I do...willing to go but not excited about it. Really had his heart set on Alaska and is uninspired to plan something else. So, I'm going to do some research and see what I can find. Any suggestions?

  2. The Northeast (upper New York state, Maine, Vermont)? Quebec? Prince Edward Island? There really are a lot of places I've never been, too. Amish country appeals to me, too. Hope you come up with something...

  3. Oh dear...insurance is not always what it is cracked up to be! Go with plan B...for sure. I love visiting places I have never been as well. That's what our road trip is all about. I see Ellen suggested Amish country. We absolutely loved our time in Lancaster County...and there is lots to see and do. It would be really pretty in fall as well. Have fun planning.
