About Me

Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

...and then, it was Christmas!

With only a few days to get ready, I didn't do much decorating.
We got the tree up and a wreath on the door!
But we were all together, we had fun, and we had lots of good things to eat!

On Sat, the 22nd, we opened gifts and made a mess!

Little L enjoying her toys!

All four girls got the hats...so cute!

Little E loved her shopping cart!

After the gifts, we had dinner...
around the new table! So nice having room
for everyone!

The big kids got bean bag chairs. Glad we had the new room...
never would have had space for them before!

On Sunday afternoon, we decorated gingerbread men cookies...
they were works of art!

By lunch on 24th, everyone was on their way
to celebrate with their "other" families. So, it
was just me and the Hubby on Christmas Eve
for the first time in 32 years!

We went out to dinner and looked at Christmas lights.
Quiet and quite a change, but it was good.
We were happy that all three families would be
in their own homes for Christmas morning.
 That's where we always were...
and that was always special to us!
