Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

lesson from a pansy

I didn't plant them until after Christmas, so they got a late start. Then the snow came and they stayed frozen for several days, So, they have had a struggle, but they are hanging in there. They are standing tall and fighting hard to do what they were made to do......bloom!
There are some things with which I am struggling. Things I am trying to put behind me......and others that I am trying to move ahead on. I can't seem to get started in either direction and feel like I'm frozen in place. I know His grace is sufficient, that His strength is perfected in my weakness, and that His Word is the light for my path. I just need the courage and determination to start (even if it is later than it should have been).... and do what the pansy did...stand, fight, BLOOM!

  1. Great post! Never have understood why someone who is weak is referred to as a pansy since this flower is so strong & keeps going even in the worst of the winter.

    Smiles & blessings,

  3. I like Pansy's too and sometimes life is just like that. I often feel frozen in place. You will get there, it is just that tiny bit of light that you have to take the next step. Sometimes that is all we have. I hope you have a lovely day and I will be praying for you.
I wish I could give you a giant hug in person, but since I can't here is one from me. O

  5. My pansies are losing the battle right now...but there is always hope. Thanks for the reminder to stay rooted...stand strong...and bloom where I am planted.
