Tuesday, as I was lying on the sofa, in my pj's snuggled up with a blanket, feeling pretty crummy, I started to hear this crinkling sound. I was curious, but I didn't feel well enough to change positions to see what was going on. In a few minutes, the hubby came around the corner with these! Bright, happy, lovely yellow tulips! Didn't know you could get them this time of year....but I'm glad you can! ( The crinkling sound was him removing the cellophane they were wrapped in.) They are still cheerful today and I am trying to be!! Hope you all have a blessed and happy weekend!

How sweet! I once received a surprise box of tulips from my sister in early March, right when the doldrums of winter were really threatening!

I think that is so sweet and yellow tulips are so nice. I hope you feel better. I hope you don't have what my family has we have been sick since October 20th.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my kids are bringing new bugs home or we are just passing the same one back and forth. I have been sick for 3 weeks now and it is driving me nuts. I am so tired of coughing.

ReplyDeleteI do know about snow and the south. I am a southern girl and lived for 41 years in MS and TN. I know how rare a snow is there.lol. I am still a southern girl even though I live in Oregon now.
