Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.
We received the photographer's photos of the wedding at Thanksgiving. In the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I failed to share them. I realize it is a little anti-climatic now, but they are so lovely I wanted you to see a few of them. Here is our sweet girl before the ceremony. I love the simplicity.
This is outside the reception venue. She has always loved the outdoors, so we were so glad there was a "green" place to take pictures.
The bride and groom.... The wedding party. Don't the girls look pretty in the beautiful blue?
If you remember, the wedding took place in a store front church in the historic downtown of a nearby city. So, there were lots of old brick buildings to use as backgrounds.
The groom's family....parents, brother and sister.
Our family....our two sons, our daughter-in-law, and the three grands.
With all the difficult and sad things that happened in 2010, September 18 was certainly the highlight of our year. It was a beautifully, happy day that we were able to share with our family and friends. I am happy for the opportunity to share it with you.
Very lovely pictures and I love your family photograph, It will be five years since my two oldest got married, and I was thinking the other day, I am ready I thing for a few more. I love all of the laughter around my table. :) Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! I'm so glad to get to see the pictures from your celebration. I *love* wedding photos! If you're anything like my mom and me, you'll go back to this post...and the online proofs...and your own album...time and time again to relive the day.
I was so excited to see more of your daughter's lovely wedding pictures. Every picture is beautiful! The photographer did a great job in capturing the happiness of the day. Thank you for sharing these with us. I really like your family picture.
