Here are the words. I tried to post the video from youtube, but, alas, it would not work. If you'd like to hear it, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sings it well and you can view it there.
He's Been Faithful To Me
In My Moments Of Fear
Through Every Pain, Every Tear
There's A God Who's Been Faithful To Me
When My Strength Was All Gone
When My Heart Had No Song
Still In Love, He's Proved Faithful To Me
Every Word He's Promised Is True
What I Thought Was Impossible
I've Seen My God Do
He's Been Faithful
Faithful To Me
Looking Back, His Love And Mercy I See
Though In My Heart I Have Questioned
And Failed To Believe
He's Been Faithful, Faithful To Me
When My Heart Looked Away
The Many Times I Could Not Pray
Still My God Was Faithful To Me
The Days I Spent So Selfishly
Reaching Out For What Pleased Me
Even Then, God Was Faithful To Me
Every Time I Come Back To Him
He Is Waiting With Open Arms
And I See Once Again
He's Been Faithful
Faithful To Me
Looking Back His Love And Mercy I See
Though In My Heart I Have Questioned
Even Failed To Believe
Yet He's Been Faithful, Faithful To Me
I think I could say that too, In so many ways 2010 was one of the hardest years yet. But, God was faithful through it all. How else would I have known Him if not He had not walked with me every step of the way. Thanks so much for sharing Miss Debbie. Those are wonderful words and always a very good reminder.
ReplyDeleteI started it too, and I was having a hard time with it. It was almost like someone else tried to write the book. I thought it seemed stiff. I keep thinking it will get better as I get further along. It is almost I thought like she was tired to the subject. Maybe I just need to go back and read the whole series again. I remember it was hard to start the one when they go to the island but the second time I read it, it became one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI will keep reading though.
I really like the words to this song..I will look for it on youtube..Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAmen and amen!
ReplyDeleteGreat words!!!! Have a blessed Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know your impressions of the JK book. I felt the same about it when I read it last month. Glad to know it isn't only me! It left me a little flat, not up to her usual standards I think. The story line becomes clearer as you read on....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words, must have been a soul stirring song! Thanks for sharing something so uplifting and encouraging.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this beautiful song ... words.
ReplyDeleteIv've had to remind our kids about this fact just yesterday as they are going through a hard thing...I think I'll look up and see who sings it.
