Here is the new house our older son and his family
moved into over the weekend.
It is a lovely home with lots of room and a nice yard.
The bay window on the left is a bedroom...
there is another bay window in the master
bedroom on the back of the house
I was so busy with the girls I didn't get many pictures,
but here is the tray ceiling in their "great room".
They will use the room on the left as an office.
The double doors open to a nice deck which overlooks
a large backyard.
The girls love the fact that this fan can be operated with
a remote control! Cool!
The pretty fireplace and mantle is a nice feature.
I always thought a mantle would be so much fun to decorate!
And they have great hardwood floors!
There are lots of pretty cabinets and drawers
in the kitchen.
I like cabinets that don't go to the ceiling,
so you can put pretty stuff up there on
top of the cabinets!
And these two really cute decals are in the
girls' bathroom...perfect!
Of course, I spent most of my time with these two sweeties!
We had a lot of fun. Can you tell that by the picture???
I'll tell you more about that next time!:-)
Those two are so darn cute. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteThe house is gorgeous, I love it.

ReplyDeletethe girls are adorable and the house is really beautiful. i have always wanted a fireplace and mantle. the bay window will be great for an office
ReplyDeleteYou could have a mantle. It doesn't have to be over a fireplace! we can look at pinterest next time we're together. And you can find some pretty mantles on craigslist for not much.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful Miss Debbie and so it that house - I would love it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and what a pretty house. It looks like it would be fun to decorate.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had a nice day.
WoW...what a gorgeous home!! and a beautiful picture of you and the girls!!
ReplyDeleteYour son's new house is beautiful! I agree about the cabinets also. When we recently remodeled our kitchen we made the decision NOT to go all the way up even though the cabinet guy tried to talk us into it bc it's the latest thing. But I have a huge Ball jar collection that I've always kept on top of my cabinets. I couldn't think of where I would put almost 50 jars, so we kept the cabinets short and I'm so happy with the way everything looks. Very excited about your remodeling at your house! Can't wait to see the photos!
