We are having a wedding soon. Our oldest son and his fiancee are getting married May 5th. They were here for the weekend and we had fun helping to make favors. There were stickers to go on Hershey kisses, labels to go on bottles of water, and......wishing wands to assemble! Rather than throw rice or birdseed, we will wave the wands at the bride and groom. Hubby cut the dowels with his miter saw.
The bride figured out a quick way to cut the ribbon.
And we all helped putting the two together! It was fun being able to help! I look forward to seeing them waving best wishes to the newlyweds! :-) |
I have never heard of wishing wands. I must be out of the wedding loop! It must of been fun putting them together!

Now that's a manly man for you! Putting together "Wishing Wands" in beautiful pastel colors! Our Mr. B is surely in love with his gal! I can't wait to wave one over the wonderful couple!
