About Me

Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.

down the aisle.......

...and into a new church home. Two weeks ago, the hubby and I joined the church that we have been visiting since September. We are confident that it is a place where we will be fed, encouraged and built up in the faith... and a place where we can serve. It's exciting to think about making new friends and seeing what God has in store for us there.
This past Sunday, our pastor began a study of 1 John. In 1 John 1:3, the Greek word for fellowship is koinonia. It literally means "sharing something in common". The Holy Spirit is the commonality that brings people of God together. It locks our hearts together....we are one.
I believe that is why so many of us in blogland have bonded so quickly...we have the same spirit within us. So, whether it's a handshake, a hug, a post, or a comment....as children of God, we enjoy koinonia.....fellowship of the heart.

"By this will all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
John 13:35

All the bet as you begin in a new place, where you already feel the bond of love . . . there is such a great starting point in Christ.
