Thr Bradford Pear trees around town are still beautiful!
The have held on to their blooms in spite of some strong
winds and rain we had last week.
A reminder to me to hold on even when the rain and winds of
disappointment or adversity blow against me or my family.
"and the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew
and beat upon that house, but it did not fall
because it had been founded on the Rock."
Matt.7:25
Thanks for visiting today...
I pray all your winds are pleasant ones!
these are just amazing to me. prettier than any of our trees here in FL and a sight I would love to see with my own eyes
ReplyDeleteI'm singing that great Sunday School Song now..."The rains came down and the floods came up..."
ReplyDeleteI love these trees, my son has one in his yard that is gorgeous every year. It is great that one held its blooms through the wind and rain. Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees! and a great reminder!
ReplyDeleteAn important reminder of where we build our trust.
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for our spring-blooming trees to start blooming. Feels like everything here is running a little late this spring. Wonderful reminder - thanks for sharing it.
