Welcome...I'm delighted that you chose to visit! I started this blog in March 2010 and I am so happy that I did. It has made me more aware of the many ways that God is blessing my life. I have made some special friends who bless, teach, encourage, and entertain me! My desire is to be an encouragement to you. I hope you will tarry for a while and that you will come back to visit often.
One of the greatest inventions known to man... the slow cooker!! I have had one since...well, I can't remember not having one! A few days after Christmas, I bought myself a new one. Isn't it lovely? It's the biggest one I've ever had...6 quarts...and it has a rubber seal to prevent spills. It alsohas clamps to hold the lid on for traveling. My old one (my second) was looking kind of sad and dated. I'm sure whatever I cook in this one will taste better... coming from such a pretty pot! What is it they say about presentation? :-)
It feels like winter here again after more than a week of springlike weather. So, I think soup is in order for the weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out!! :-)
Great minds think alike. I got myself a larger one, too, after I kept crowding my smaller one. I still haven't plugged my new one in and hope to soon. Happy weekend too you!
When I worked fulltime and was raising kids, I used my crock pot ALL of the time... It was nice to go into the house after a long day's work and smell dinner... These days, I haven't used one in a long time.
Congrats on the new one... I need one --if I ever start using it again. Mine is one of the older ones with the glass lid.... Hugs, Betsy
it is beautiful and very cheery looking, while it puts out good smells and food it can cheer up your outside views.
ReplyDeleteI love anything cooked in a slow cooker. Very pretty Crock-Pot and I really like the features. Enjoy!! Hugs
