...is what our grandson's newest pets say and this is where they live,
though not quite finished.
The Hubby, our daughter, SIL, Little E and I went to visit them today.
Can you guess what they are.... goats!
Ned, Red and Myrtle.
Myrtle is the white one without the horns,
Ned is the other white one and Red, well,
he's the red one! :-)

Myrtle is the youngest and the sweetest one. She likes to be held
and to give kisses.
Our son has always been an animal lover...
Her daughter, on the other hand, wasn't so sure she
liked these strange creatures! :-)
They have a regular barnyard...
roosters and hens (the hens were shy so
I couldn't get a picture)...

This"country boy" got a 4 wheeler from his other grandparents for Christmas.
It comes in handy when you have a "kingdom
of dogs, chickens, guineas and goats" to take care of!
It was a nice way to spend the holiday. After homemade soup and
cornbread, we headed home. The weather was perfect
and so was the company!

I think E will grow to love animals...I will make sure of it! It was a fun day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun day...for sure. Was it a holiday in your part of the world? There is a school holiday over here today...due to a blizzard.
ReplyDeleteHow very nice. Nice goats too, I always think its is nice for kids to be around animals.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect little visit!
ReplyDeleteAre they raising them for the milk?
